Theme of the week :
Friendships
Welcome back to yet another exciting week. May we kindly remember to send our morning Class dojo everyday for our little one's update. As the weather is getting colder, you may change some school clothes to fit the appropriate weather. I hope we stay warm and safe from the flue that is going around. Thank you for your support.

Hello Seahorse family .
Our week was quite an eye opener for us since we were talking about friendship! We learnt what a good friend does and a bad friend as well. We opened the week with an Assembly led by Mr. Trey and Ms. Risa. They were talking about the caring trait, which made it easier to relate to as Seahorse friends. They got some help from the activity and they enjoyed it.
On Tuesday, they had a cutting activity. They had to sit and cut from a distance to make it easier to follow the lines. This was a well focused activity for Seahorse friends, they were all trying their best to concentrate. We had to talk about scissors safety first.
On Wednesday, they made a friendship headband. They were so excited to try it on. Every Seahorse friend had to pick a trait to show what kind of a friend they are, paste it on the front then color as well.
On Thursday, they had a block matching activity. They had to look for block pieces and try to fit them on the paper as a group until all pieces have been found. They exchanged the different types of blocks available until the whole sheet was filled. this helps with their visual spatial skills which will be useful for reading in the future.
On Friday, we had our shape hop scorch. They were listening for a shape then try to locate all 4 of them on the paper. more like following the trail of the shape until they match it to the one on the wall. They did an amazing job with this it it helps them to recognize and differentiate the shapes we have!
