Curriculum highlights

What a splash-tastic week we've had exploring our "Under the Sea" theme, just like our school's theme this year! We did lots of ocean-themed fun activities while singing our song of the week "Row, Row, Row Your Boat"!

On Tuesday, we explored our sensory ocean tubs, naming all the fascinating sea creatures we could find. We also sharpened our minds with fish puzzles, practicing matching, and enjoyed some magnet fishing with friends.

Wednesday was all about fine motor skills! We got creative with fish stamping, practicing names like shark, dolphin, octopus, and jellyfish. Squeezing and pressing hard was great practice for playdough strength!

Then on Thursday, we made our very own ocean sensory bottles! Friends carefully practiced scooping up water beads and placing them into bottles, and we even practiced counting fish from 1 to 3.

To wrap up our week today, Friday, we had a blast with bubble wrap fish painting! We dipped our fingers in colorful paint while singing "Bubble, Bubble, Pop!" It's been a week full of discovery and fun! Let's take a look at how awesome our week went!
