Morning & Afternoon Meeting
For morning meeting and afternoon meeting this week, was pretty normal! We still danced and sang different songs and looked at pictures from our adventures on the weekend! We are still learning different things about each season too! They always have so much fun playing, singing, and dancing together!!
Literacy Week!
This week was Literacy week! It has been so much fun dressing up and reading different books together. We also made and did so many fun things! We had a special bear walk sensory play, we made a special witch with hand panting, we matched animals with colors in the big room, and we made our own classroom tree! We also had so many different teachers, parents, and kinder friends read to us! Everyone had so much fun this week!
Sweet Potato Harvesting
We ended the week with our field trip to Izumi Campus to harvest the sweet potatoes that we dug and visit their library! I will attach some photos below!
Free Play!
Here are some pictures of our friends enjoying their playtime. We played in the big room and the park this week, and we even had a special parade to show off their costumes!
Books of the Week
Our books of the week were: We're Going on a Bear Hunt, Room on the Broom, 'Baby Bear, Baby Bear, What do you See', and 'Red Leaf, Yellow Leaf'.
Upcoming Important Dates
- October 10th - 100th Day of School!
- October 13th - National Holiday (No School)
- October 22nd - Parents Day!
- November 1st - International Cultural Festival at Izumi Campus
Next week our theme will be about autumn! So we will learn about different thing about autumn and what happens during autumn with trees! We look forward to seeing everyone next week!!
