Morning & Afternoon Meeting
For morning meeting and afternoon meeting this week we are still doing different things to wake us up in the morning! We dance in different ways to make our morning songs more fun! They have a lot of fun singing the songs and dancing all together in the mornings!!
Language and Literacy
This week we looked at a new letter, V! We practiced writing V and other words that have V in them. We learned about vegetables and the difference between fruits and vegetables. We made a volcano and painted the lava coming out of it! We played a corners game with different V words around the class and big room. Then, we made our own vans!! They did great!
Math
This week we looked at patterns again! We made bracelets using different patterns. We looked at different kinds of patterns and drew patterns of our own! Then, we worked in partners to finish different patterns. Then, we tried to do symmetry drawing!!
Topic Exploration
This week's topic exploration was life cycles! We learned about the frogs life cycle and the different stages of it. We also made a book that says the different parts of a frogs life! We looked at the life cycle of a chicken and pretended to be chickens at different stages of its life! Then, we looked at the life cycle of a flower and made a chart for the different parts of its life!!
