Morning & Afternoon Meeting

For morning meeting and afternoon meeting this week was filled with fun! For our good morning songs, we did many different things! We made a train to walk around the classroom, and we even made different shapes and walked in a circle and danced together. They all try so hard when singing to the different songs in the morning. They love singing the weather song and they always get so excited when we sing the months of the year song. We also had our morning assembly this Monday! They are doing great!!

Numeracy and Science Week!

This week was Numeracy and Science week! We learned about so many different things and had so many different experiments this week!! We looked at space and had a moon rock excavation and looked at what happens if we put it in the water. We also painted our own planets using table tennis balls! Then, we looked at texture and felt different things and described how they felt. Then, we looked at the five senses. We talked about how we use our five senses and then used them to talk about and describe many different things in the class with a sensory walk. Then, we looked at sink and float. We talked about what each word meant, and we tested out if different things in the classroom could sink or float! They did great and had so much fun this week!

Science Museum

We ended the week with our field trip to the science museum! The kids were so excited to see everything! They also had so much fun looking at everything and using everything they could. They had a lot of fun in the animal exhibit! They were so interested in everything that was there and wanted to look at everything and interact with everything around them.
