Curriculum highlights

Hello Seahorse friends and families!

On Monday, we had so much fun introducing our Fruit theme. They got to copy their names using apples and a string. This activity requires more focus and attention to where you are placing your string. It is also a sequencing technique , knowing which letter comes after and actually completing the task!

On Tuesday, this requires less briefing as it was our Parents' Day. We had to experience class activities with our mummies and daddies helping us out with our activities. They also got to see how we conduct our morning circle and how much dance we put in. Thank you for joining us!

On Wednesday, it was a fruit matching contest. We had to pick a fruit and match it to its other half from a bin full of fruits. This will help with their visual discriminatory skills as they get to select the same fruit from a variety. Happy matching!

On Thursday, we had to put in a counting activity. It's been a while since we last counted on our own. Using tweezers is a great way to count each piece on our own. We need to strengthen our motor skills and counting skills as well.

On Friday, we have started prepping for our Sports Day and we used it today for practice time. We also had to sum up our fruit week with a grape craft, which was a specific painting activity. This will help our little ones with visual spatial skills as they try to navigate their pom poms within the grape fruit lines!
