Morning & Afternoon Meeting
This week we continued practicing for our sports day dances and started to learn some new dances to wake ourselves up! They really enjoy doing the dinosaur and monkey dances. It always gets them really excited! They all love screaming when it comes on screen haha!
Language and Literacy
This week we looked at the letter H! We practiced tracing the letter, we made a house of the letter H, we colored a bunch of pictures that start with the letter H, and we made our own hotdogs! They really enjoyed the crafts this week! They kept on pretending they were eating the hotdog haha! Their fine motor skills are getting great too!
Math
This week we continued practicing and recognizing numbers from 1-10 and also backwards 10-1. We practiced with number puzzles, where students had to work together to put numbers 1-10 together, they had to fill in blanks and find the missing numbers, and we had to find the number on a big piece of paper and put a circle around it! They are really getting the hang of these numbers!
Topic Exploration
The theme for this week was all about seeds. This week we planted our own seeds! We started to grow hatsuka-daikon! They got to put the dirt in the cup, put their seeds in the ground, and water it after it was done. They did really great!

Our book of the week was The Zebra Said Shhhhh. They really enjoyed looking at all the animals in the book!
