Curriculum highlights
This week our Seahorse friends explored land and air transport through story telling, role playing, sensory play and interactive movement games. They developed language using key phrases like "My turn" , explored shapes and puzzles and created personalized hot air balloons.
On Monday, The week kicked off with land transportation fun through storytelling and exploration. Seahorse friends explored vehicle names like "bus" , "train" and "car". They had a bus pretend play where they practiced getting on the bus using their pasmo cards, riding the bus and saying, "stop please" when they want to get off. This was a great language experience.
On Tuesday, we added gross motor movement and matching plane sounds to boost sensory processing, listening, and early language development - all while having fun.
On Wednesday, toddlers created vibrant hot air balloons using small pieces of paper. Each friend added their own photo to the basket, personalizing their flight! This activity supported their fine motor skills, spatial awareness, and identity while encouraging language like, "My Turn" during glue-stick and fun.
On Thursday, Math met motion today as we counted the wheels and hunted for rectangles. They explore shapes through matching squares and complete them into a transportation puzzle.
On Friday, we had a paint drive through on the paper. They made art using different transportation wheel track and it was amazing to watch them explore. They had a lot of focus on the activity and had the chance to share and exchange toys.
