  Theme of the week :

Curriculum highlights

On Monday, we opened our week with a fun nut name recognition activity. They had to arrange the acorns in order of their names. This gives them a sense of identity and whenever they see their names they can tell. They had to stick with glue giving them time to work on their squeeze technique.

On Tuesday, we had our monthly assembly on this day being led by Ms.Anji. Our character trait for the month is being risk takers! I hope to see our little toddlers explore more and take risks at home and at school. Feel free to have fun with them.

On Wednesday, we had to work together to color a giant acorn. This was a fun scribbling activity, adding stickers to the acorn was the cherry on top. It was all fine motor exploration and helping them to enhance their grip as well as learn how to share and communicate.

On Thursday, we did comparisons today, focusing on big and small. They had to identify the big and small objects. They are used to singing the big and small song, doing actions and now we had to put them to the test. they did well! singing helps us to learn about our environment as well.

On Friday, we finished the week with a fun squirrel craft. We used Autumn colors to make a unique print that shows our squirrel. This gives them a sense of imagination, so they can explore different colors and in mixing them, new colors emerge!
