Week 19 Theme:
Apples
Reminders
On Tuesday, Starfish friends became apple artists, using playdough to create their very own apples. It was a great sensory activity, squishing and rolling the dough, and we even tried to stack our apples as we practiced our fine motor skills.
On Wednesday, we discovered that worms love apples, too! We worked on our hand-eye coordination with a worm lacing activity, carefully threading our toy worms through the "apples" with amazing focus and precision.
On Thursday, we got our wiggles out with a pretend apple-picking activity. We reached high to "pick" the apples from the tree and practiced our counting as we gathered our harvest.
To finish off our week on Friday, we used toy apples to paint! We dipped our apple halves in paint and used them to make unique prints. It was a fun and creative way to explore the texture and shape of this delicious fruit.
Thank you for a wonderful week filled with apple-themed fun and learning! We hope you have a great weekend.
