Morning & Afternoon Meeting
For morning meeting and afternoon meeting this week, we looked at pictures of our adventures over the weekend!! We talked about what we saw, what we did, and who we were with! We are also doing songs in the morning that lets us move all of our body so we can shake the sleepiness off. They always get so excited and happy to dance to Danny Go!
Language and Literacy
This week we are learning about the letter 'U'! We made a special U is for umbrella craft, we made unicorns, and we practiced writing the letter!! We also practiced using the sounds they know to blend words together! They really had fun doing these activities this week!!
Math
This week we looked at size! So we compared sizes between things. We also started to talk about 'smallest and biggest or largest'! We measured things in class using Legos and counted them. We measured our hands to see who had the biggest and smallest hands. We also went around the classroom to see who could find the smallest toy!
Topic Exploration
This week's topic exploration was about animals, specifically animals you can find in the Zoo. We read different stories about animals that live in the Zoo. We watched also covered a giraffe in black and yellow stickers! We ended the week by going to the zoo to look at the different animals there!! They had so much fun this week.

Book of the Week
Our book of the week was actually two books! We used these books to see the different animals that could live in the Zoo!!
