Children's interest : Trains

Curriculum highlights
On Monday, our Seahorse friends got to enjoy decorating their favorite book pictures with stickers. They also had the chance to color a train afterwards. All this, was for them to exercise their fine motor skills as they peel off the stickers and scribble on their papers as well. With more practice they will have a firm grip.
On Wednesday, we made our own personalized tickets. The main idea was for them to identify a rectangle in the process. They put stickers, scribbled a lot and also got to engage in conversations with their peers. They develop their language skills gradually, especially fluency with talking to each other.
On Thursday, we had a sorting activity according to color. Using blocks for this activity, it was easy for them to pick a color at random and match.
On Friday, we finished the week with a foot print train activity. This was very interesting to them, just a reminder that we can make whatever we want, if we imagine it! This helps to broaden their creativity and imagination and the same time!
