Curriculum highlights

On Monday, what is Literacy Week without first giving an introduction of who we are. Our week started with a favorite t-shirt day! A day to show off who we are as individuals and helps them with self identification. they loved showing on the different character they had on.

On Tuesday, it was a silly hat/ hat day. it was interesting to see how creative we could get with our hair and hats! Our Seahorse friends enjoyed this along side a book reading from the grouchy lady bug. We learnt a new emotion: grouchy. It was accompanied by a lady bug painting activity.

On Wednesday, we had a mellow yellow day! Our class color was yellow and we were so bright and happy! We made dragonfly crafts and flew them around the class. This was more of a gross movement activity as they got to walk around and raise their hands.

On Thursday, we enjoyed our favorite book character costumes. With that came the alphabet match activity. This was a simple matching activity which helps with color recognition and sorting skills.
