Curriculum highlights

On Monday, we had an assembly day! And guess who was leading it? the Seahorse team , We talked about being open-minded. This means our Seahorse friends are open to listening to their friends for ideas, not quick to say , "I am right" and also consider others' thoughts! This is quite a good lesson for us to learn! You may take a look at the famous rabbit - duck illusion for insights.

On Tuesday, we had fun stamping pumpkins using balloons. This was not an easy task as it required them to follow instructions and share the balloons as well. They did a great job with that and they can follow simple instructions as well!

On Wednesday, we made a pumpkin craft. They had to paste their picture, as well as the pumpkin and make it seem as if they are popping out of the pumpkin. This is a sequencing skill they learnt because they had to know that the picture is first, followed by the pumpkin base then finally the top!

On Thursday, we had a shape matching activity, in as much as it seems easy for us to match, this is a skill for them. It required them to observe and take note of objects that are the same so they can place it on the same pumpkin. And they did just that without any assistance!

On Friday, it was our 100th day celebration. Yey! we made it to 100 days and school and we had to come wearing any number of our choice. They showed up in numbers and you should have seen their happy faces. We had a booth for them and balloon playing activity. They also made cool 100 glasses for them to play with!
