Curriculum highlights
On Monday, we started the week by making a beautiful corn craft using our fingers! It was our first time painting with fingers, some friends were a little unsure at first, but everyone gave it their best try, and the results were amazing.
Tuesday: It was Parents’ Day! A very special day for parents to see how well their little ones perform in class. The children proudly made corn using playdough and bubble wrap to create the kernels, then “planted” them in our planters. We also showcased our singing and dancing—the smiles on the parents’ faces said it all! Thank you to everyone who joined and celebrated this special day with us. We will only be posting pictures with parents on our Class Stories. Thank you for understanding.

On Wednesday, we explored our feelings—happy, sad, angry, and sleepy, and practiced identifying emotions through a fun feeling-sorting activity. It was so nice to see how well the children could recognize and express their emotions.
Time to move on Thursday! Our movement activity had us filling up a giant corn by sticking yellow balls onto it. The room was full of laughter and energy—our friends went a little “corn crazy” with all the bouncing balls!

Then on Friday, we wrapped up the week with corn-themed sensory bins filled with yellow objects. It was the perfect way to end the week—exploring textures, practicing naming objects, and enjoying sensory play together.
The weather is getting chilly, and little colds are making their rounds. Please make sure our little friends are bundled up and staying warm! ๐งฃ We’re sending healthy wishes to all our families — take care and get lots of rest this weekend. ๐๐ฝ๐
