Curriculum highlights
Hello everybody! What a busy and productive week it has been!
On Monday, we had another morning assembly where we learned how to be principled children—playing fair and choosing to do what is right. We also practiced getting tissues, wiping our noses and faces independently, and throwing them away properly.
On Tuesday, we pretended to be sleeping bears hibernating in the cold weather as we prepare for the upcoming winter. We built our own cozy cave using blankets, cushions, and stuffed toys. We also had our earthquake drill.
On Wednesday, we enjoyed an animal color-sorting activity using basic colors. We are getting more confident naming our basic colors! Good job!
On Thursday, we had a full rehearsal for our Celebration of Learning! We practiced our songs and dances. Our COL songs are attached below so please play them at home and dance along with your children!
On Friday, we had a combined activity with our Seahorse friends. We made fall crowns using real leaves! The children had so much fun choosing different colored leaves, gluing them, and wearing their beautiful creations. Thank you to everyone for coming to school in fall-colored outfits!
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend, and we’ll see you again next week! 🍂😊
