We kindly ask that you dress your child in a suitable uniform to ensure they stay comfortable during the school day. Please continue to complete Class Dojo's temperature check each morning before 8am. Thank you for labeling your child's belongings for school. Please make sure new items (jackets, spoons, socks etc.) are also labelled.
Curriculum highlights
Hello everybody! This week, we explored our Zoo Animals theme!
On Tuesday, we kicked off the week by singing “Let’s Go to the Zoo” and moving our bodies like different animals while learning their sounds. The children also coloured our friend Elmer the Elephant, the first animal in our weekly song.
On Wednesday, we had our COL general rehearsal. We are so proud of the children—everyone looked adorable in their bunny costumes and bunny ears! Some friends were a little teary at the start, but they are showing wonderful progress and growing more confident each day.
On Thursday, we enjoyed a fun gross motor activity, moving around the classroom like animals, waddling like penguins, swinging like monkeys, and stomping like elephants!
On Friday, we learned about snakes and made our own mommy, daddy, and baby snakes. The children enjoyed comparing long snakes and short snakes while creating their own little snake families. 🐘🐍🐒🦢
