Zoo animals
Winter will be hear soon. We kindly ask you to dress our little ones in comfortable clothing during their school time. Please continue to log into our class dojo and thank you for labeling our little ones items!
Curriculum highlights
On Tuesday, we introduced our theme for the week, Zoo. They got to play with small animals that we find at the zoo. They also got the chance to classify them according to where they live. They enjoyed feeding their animals as well as talking to them, haha. They had a great time in their miniature sensory bin zoo. A great way of giving them a sense of responsibility!
On Wednesday, They had a combined practice with our Starfish friends. As the COL is approaching, we wanted them to rehearse and be comfortable on stage. They had so much fun singing and dancing throughout the performance. With them exploring the arcade as well, we saw a pretty little Christmas tree. These walks helps them to be very observant as they learn to look for items as they walk along the street. That's how we also gain vocabulary as well, by pointing and saying.
On Thursday, they learnt how to say their lines for the play. They had full on costumes and they were so happy. Jumping up and down with joy, this made the performance even better with so much energy!
On Friday, they made a lion craft. Well, it is what I thought was a lion craft. They said it was a sun, up until they had to add the googly eyes and whiskers! They had to place the mane one by one, which helps them to focus on their activity!
