Curriculum highlights

Hello everyone! This week we had lots of fun learning about winter clothes and how they keep us warm. We practiced putting on our clothes by ourselves while singing the song Put On Your Boots.

On Tuesday, we did a math activity sorting scarves and hats by color, and the children were so quick that we also talked about new colors like purple, gray, orange, and white.

On Wednesday, we tried hanging clothes on a rope using clothespins, just like how our parents do them at home. I think they can now help you hang clothes after washing at home too :)

On Thursday, our teddy bear friend came to visit but he was cold with no clothes on! Oh no! We dressed him up together while learning the names of winter clothing, and we also enjoyed a magnetic dress-up bear activity.

On Friday, we talked about mittens and decorated our own with stickers. They are now hanging in the hallway above the shoe cubbies for you to see. We read many winter books, sang lots of winter songs, and it was lovely to see everyone learning and having fun. Please keep warm, and have a happy weekend! ❄️
