Morning & Afternoon Meeting
For morning meeting and afternoon meeting this week we talked about many different things this week! We talked about how to find things out if we don't know them! We look up the information! We also danced to many different songs together to wake us up and get excited for the day! They have so much fun playing around together and getting ready for the day!!
Language and Literacy
This week we looked at a new letter, W!! We practiced writing the letter W and different words that have W. We made a W watermelon! We had to find the letter W when it was mixed around with different letters, and we practiced listening out for different words that start with W. They all tried this best when learning about it this week!
Math
This week we continued to look at numbers 1-10! We practiced counting inside our heads to see how many things are there. We drew lines to connect a number with a group of objects. We played a roll the dice and color game! Then, we listened to different math songs to help us count our numbers!! They did great!!
Topic Exploration
This week's topic exploration was winter animals and animals that hibernate! We watched some short videos and talked about hibernation! They had a fun time trying to see what animals they thought hibernated. We talked about where different animals slept, and traced lines to where they should sleep. We also made our own little bears hibernating in their caves!! They had a lot of fun learning about this!!
