Welcome back to yet another exciting week. May we kindly remember to send our morning Class dojo everyday for our little one's update. As the weather is getting colder, you may change some school clothes to fit the appropriate weather. Thank you for your support.
Curriculum highlights
On Monday we had our second letter sound a. They really have got the hang of it already and they are doing well.They also had to color a skating bear, and only the bear . We are now moving onto structured coloring!
On Tuesday, we had a fake snow activity. It is good for them to get hands on activities as they use their hands to explore. They also get to learn turn taking and conversing with each other when they find something interesting.
On Wednesday, we had to practice ice hockey on our tables. Using some Popsicle sticks as the hockey stick, they passed the ball to each other. They have really grown and were giving each other a chance to hit the ball. They did great!
On Thursday we had matching shapes for snowmen. The whole idea was for them to first identify the shapes, then try to build their own snowman according to the shapes. They tried each head matching it to the same shape body!
On Friday, we painted our own skating rinks using the blue ain't. They had to get all creative and try to picture themselves skating and make the lines. It was all blue paint to them and they used toothbrushes for this activity, to give them a different feel from the paint brushes.
