Happy Week 40!
For our final two weeks, our theme is Friendship—celebrating the friendships we built throughout the school year. This week we focused on working together and learning how to treat each other with love and respect. I’m already feeling a little emotional knowing that next week will be our last week together.
On Monday, we had our morning assembly and talked about being caring. Our Orca friends worked together with the Starfish friends to make a heart poster to show what caring looks like.
On Tuesday, we had a fun gross motor activity where the children crossed two “bridges” while holding onto a friend. It was both funny and sweet watching them choose their partners and give each other hugs at the end.
Wednesday was a colourful math activity. We learned about primary colours and how to mix them to make secondary colours. The children dipped their hands in paint, mixed colours with a friend, and made bright handprints on the wall.
On Thursday, we worked together to paint our Starfish Friendship Tree, symbolising the teamwork and family we built this year.
Then on Friday, we created a hug picture puzzle wall with photos of all our friends and decorated it with fun stickers.
It was a lovely week filled with learning, singing new songs, and appreciating one another. 💛

Next Week:
Time flies so fast! Can you believe that next week is already our last week? We don’t even want to think about it because we’re going to miss everyone so much. That’s why next week we’ll be celebrating the end of Term 3 and making the most of our final days together with fun activities alongside our friends and teachers. 😊
