Curriculum highlights

Hello Seahorse family .

We started the week with a bang as we had an unusual activity. We practiced drawing under the table whilst lying on our backs. It was very comfortable, and for them shocking but exciting. They got to scribble on the papers, and draw what they assumed were their parents and some siblings as well. It was a great activity for them to be relaxed and practice their fine motor skills.

On Tuesday, we did a jolly Phonics hop. We had to play the song and they would sing along. Each individual would look for the letter that corresponds to the song. Most of them did a great job and managed to find the phonic sounds.

On Wednesday, they had a shoe matching activity. This was by far the highlight of the week. they each had to try and match their two shoes from different sides. they really enjoyed it, as it also helps them with self awareness and their belongings.

On Thursday, we had our End of Year Celebrations. It being a non uniform day, we saw them come in different fantastic outfits! They loved them very much and we had a variety of activities packed, like the parachute , making our own ice cream using play dough and craft sprinkles.
